WSADA is celebrating 88 years of service to Washington's franchised new car and truck dealers and businesses who support dealership operations through various industry-related services.
The distribution and sale of new vehicles vitally affects the general economy of the state. WSADA's 341 dealer members serve 85 cities and communities in Washington and are responsible for an annual sales volume in excess of $13 billion. Dealers collect over 15% of the sales tax revenues for the state and employ over 22,000 people.
Through a wide variety of civic and charitable causes, franchised dealers generously contribute millions of dollars each year to the communities in which they do business, as well as countless hours of their personal time. For all WSADA dealers it's about more than selling cars, it's also about giving back.
As the auto retail industry has evolved over the years, so has the complexity of day-to-day operations, the regulatory environment and the public image of auto dealers. WSADA is proud to serve as "one strong voice" in support of new car and truck dealers in state and federal legislative and regulatory arenas and in the community at large.
